LHS girls soccer celebrates seniors players

Last night beginning at 6:30, LHS girls soccer played D’Evelyn at LHS stadium for their senior night game. Two seniors were honored at the game, Uma Nigro and Sofia Milner-Calvo.

Nigro, who has been soccer at LHS since a freshman, said her favorite memory was from this season.

“We beat Conifer like three weeks ago, it was a really, really good win,” said Nigro.

Milner-Calvo will miss the time she’s spent with the other players this season, the bus rides particularly.

“I’ll miss the teammates most. I think this season especially we’ve really built a really good community. We’re all super close and that’s what counts more than the actual scores, it’s the team,” said Milner-Calvo.

Despite the game being a lose, 2-0, the team has hopes to win their last two games of the season.
