This school year, Littleton High School welcomes many new teachers including one of our fabulous science teachers, Ms. Mitchell. She previously worked at George Washington High School in Denver and taught IB Biology and Freshmen science!
Ms. Mitchell was drawn to LHS by the positive culture and community, and is looking forward to teaching the IB Biology Juniors for both their Junior and Senior year. “I’m really excited to get to know everyone at this school, and get to know all of my students.”
Some interesting facts about Ms. Mitchell is that she is an enormous Taylor Swift enthusiast. German is her first language, which she learned from her mom, and her dad taught her English. She is originally from Southern California but moved to Highlands Ranch when she was six. “This summer I got to do a lot of traveling. I got to take my grandma to California, which was super fun,” said Mitchell. She also visited her mom’s side of the family in Germany, which she has done every Summer since she was little.
Her favorite activity in Germany was visiting the Cologne Cathedral, when she hiked 530 steps to the top! “The view was worth it,” she said. Mitchell is excited for the school year and can’t wait to see what Littleton is all about. Please give her a warm welcome!
