It’s the new school year, and it’s time to introduce another one of our amazing new teachers! Mrs. Alycia Price is one of our newest additions to the science department. She is going into her 9th year of teaching and has taught at all grade levels.

Mrs. Price grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and moved to California for college. She attended the University of San Francisco and played DI Volleyball there. In 2016, she moved to Colorado with her husband.

Mrs. Price has three kids, two boys and one girl. Her kids are five, three, and one years old. She also has two dogs, one snake, and nineteen chickens! In her free time, she enjoys playing with her kids, dogs, and chickens, and playing volleyball.

She majored in Environmental Science in college and has always had a passion for science. She has always focused on teaching Science and STEM, and she is continuing that focus by being the Integrated Science 3-4 teacher.

When asked how she is liking LHS so far, she responded with a huge smile on her face, saying, “I love it! It’s dreamy as an educator. Very supportive, and very inclusive!”

Mrs. Price is a really amazing person, and seems to really care about teaching and her students. We are so excited to have her here at LHS and cannot wait to see what she brings to the school!
