Ms. Hope is one of the new social workers at LHS. Hope has worked in many schools in and around the Denver Metro area in various roles, including school-based therapist and school counselor. She came to LHS after hearing about the culture and inclusive community the school had to offer.
“One thing I heard before I started was that the school was a very inclusive community. High School was always an age group I really wanted to work with,” Hope said.
Hope looks forward to meeting the students and helping them find support when needed. She’s also looking forward to connecting with the other staff within the school.
“A lot of what I do is help support students socially and emotionally, and being able to get to know students and teachers is a really exciting part of my role,” Hope says.
When Hope is not in the office, you can find her taking care of her four chickens, and she has recently taken up the hobby of river surfing down the South Platte River!
