On Friday, September 19th, 2025, the Littleton Lions Flag Football team competed against the Elizabeth Cardinals. During the Junior Varsity game, the Lions took home the win, which is super exciting. Go Lions!

Our Varsity team fought hard and had some awesome plays, including Olivia May securing a touchdown during the first half! But the Cardinals ended up with an extremely close win against the Lions at the end of the night.
Through it all, the Lions managed to stay upbeat and positive.
Varsity player Wren Freeman said “It’s always a team effort, and it makes it really fun that all the girls love and support each other.”
When asked about what helps her stay positive, Varsity athlete Alexa Holm-Denoma added, “When everyone is cheering on the sidelines it’s really helpful because then your morale is up on the field.”

According to Freeman, the most challenging part of the game was, “The physicality of it and the slippery field.”
Despite challenge after challenge, we persevered. Fantastic Job, Lions. We are so proud of all of you.
