The Lions Flag Football team fought hard in a tough 0–12 loss against Steamboat High School, showing effort and motivation, even when the game wasn’t going in their direction. They next play on Wednesday at home versus Green Mountain, which will be the end of their regular season.
At a record of 7–6, the Lions have put together a good season, as this is the second ever year of Girls Flag Football at LHS. The team has grown in both skill and chemistry throughout the season, improving from each game and seeking to become better. And with Regionals coming up next, the Lions are determined to finish on a high note and compete for state.
