There is a small legend in place that the founder, Brad Holder, passed away on the grounds, and to this day, many people have reported sightings of him.
The compound is full of scary clowns, werewolves, zombies, escaped mental patients, haunted dolls, and chainsaw men. As you enter the compound, that white smoke starts to consume you, which prepares you to experience one of the scariest nights of your life as you go into a new universe.
I believe that this is one of the scariest haunted houses I have gone to. If you are looking for a good scare that will elevate your adrenaline, you should buy a ticket to the Frightmare compound.
The 13th Floor Haunted House is located in Denver, Colorado. The haunted house has a legend that when you enter an elevator awaiting the 13th floor, you realize that there is no 13th floor. The 13th floor was never meant to be seen. On the 13th floor, you meet Mr. Hallows, the key master, who introduces you to his collection of monsters, although you slowly realize that the locks do not work. You are stuck on the 13th floor, trapped with monsters.

This is one of the most popular haunted houses in the Denver area, so unless you have bought VIP tickets, you will face an extremely long wait that could last over an hour. There are many types of food trucks and food you can buy while waiting, along with small carnival games and more activities. This haunted house is one of the biggest, with more than just a haunted house attraction.
I believe that this haunted house is one of the most popular haunted houses, but the scare factor is low. There are many games and other scary activities you can participate in, and different types of food, but ultimately, the scare factor in this haunted house is not the best.

The legend behind this haunted house is based on where it resides: Riverdale. The Haunted Field of Screams is considered a “Ride to the Riverdale Gates of Hell”. On Riverdale Road, there used to be hangings, burnings, and roadside accidents. A man who used to live in a mansion on Riverdale Road went into a state of manic and burned down his house and his family inside. The pile of ashes was the only thing that remained were the entrance gates were, the now considered gates of Hell.

As you enter a real corn field, you are forced to find your way through the corn maze and multiple haunted houses that are similar to escape rooms.
I believe that this haunted house is one of the biggest haunted houses I have gone through, although it passed by quickly. It was very scary, and the many types of stories you hear in the corn mazes scare you more. I believe that this haunted house is one of the best ones I have gone to!
The three haunted houses I have gone to are the 3 most popular and biggest haunted houses in Colorado. All three of them have a scare factor, but The 13th Floor is the most popular in all of Colorado, and is full of many more attractions other than the haunted house. Due to its huge popularity, the prices are extremely high. The other haunted house, The Haunted Field of Screams, is the biggest haunted house, with a huge scare level and cheaper prices, although there are not as many attractions or food options. The Frightmare Compound was one of the scariest haunted houses I have attended. This haunted house only has a few other small attractions and a live DJ while waiting in line, which makes it much more appealing than only having scary monsters.
The Frightmare Compound, The 13th Floor Haunted House, and The Haunted Field of Screams are all enjoyable haunted houses. I recommend you attend all of these haunted houses for many of their different, amazing qualities!
