I’ve been doing Varsity Bowling for 2 years. I like to get strikes, spares, and be part of a great team. It helps me focus by looking at the bowling pins, which makes me calm. Last year, at Regionals, we did really well and got 2nd place! I am feeling good and pretty confident this year for bowling, and I feel good about my new teammates: Chris and Charlotte. My favorite memory from bowling was when Landon told me I got this, and it boosted my confidence! Last year I got an award: the Jeffco League All-Conference Award.
I joined the Unified Bowling team because it is fun, and it brings energy all together. Last year, we had athletes Evan, Claire and myself, and we had Landon and Aaron as partners. This year we have Charlotte, myself, Chris, Claire and Landon. For the League Tournament this year, we had Shelby, Evan, myself, Charlotte and Landon. Emi sang the national anthem, and we got 4th place! Regionals were good, but it was tough and we got 4th place there, too. We had the Unified Cheer team at Regionals. At the beginning, we had Emi sing the National Anthem. Overall, it was a good season, and I hope the next Varsity Bowling team next year does well.
