The microwave exploded on Tuesday, when someone put a bowl of ramen noodles in it with no water in it, which caused the noodles to catch on fire, burning the microwave and the noodles. Luckily, the microwave didn’t fully catch on fire, and about five minutes later, the school cleaned up the mess and threw out the microwave. We got this new microwave on Monday, this being the second day we had it after losing the previous microwaves to similar incidents. But, this event does leave the future of microwaves in jeopardy at Littleton High School.
