On Saturday, I went to the Englewood Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony with my mom, and there was also a holiday market. It was cold! It was a community event, so it was very busy. I had hot chocolate and cookies, and also a pork sandwich, all while sitting on an ice sculpture. There was music and people singing, spreading holiday spirit! Santa was there to light up the tree, and someone dressed up as a Christmas tree and a candy cane. My favorite part was seeing the tree light up, and the food was really good. It was really fun and magical, and it’s a great way to make good memories this month!
