My mom and I went to the Science and Nature Museum in Downtown Denver over Winter Break. We got to see how many Legos it took to build all of the new displays, which were 1.5 million Legos! There were different animals and different creations made out of Legos. My favorite one was a Lion. After that I saw elephants.
Then, I went to see the space exhibit and I saw astronauts and different things. Also in the exhibit, there were different types of Earth density maps displayed. The contours denote densities of 0, 1, 2, … stars arcmin-2. The red box shows a strip of low extinction along the eastern edge of the field, which was used to rescale the off-source star density map with contour levels in 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0.
One of the many animal exhibits at this museum was the elephants. Elephants come from Africa, and they eat grass, leaves, bark, roots, and fruits.
It was a good experience, and I want to go to more museums and explore. I recommend going, there are a lot of displays to explore. My favorite is ‘Brick Planet’!
