On February 9th, 2026, our Unified Basketball team faced off against the Thunderridge Grizzlies Unified team in our own gym.
The night started off with introducing the Thunderridge team and the Littleton Lions by them running through the LHS Poms’ iconic tunnel.
The game then started quickly, with the Grizzlies leading 12-4 in the first five minutes. But soon, the Lions switched it up and started to dominate against Thunderridge.

There were many baskets from all of the Unified kids, and Junior Shelby Griffin was a key player in the game. The first period ended with the Littleton Lions winning, with a score of 36-33!
The second period started with tip-off between Senior Nathan Simmonds and a Grizzly player. Nearing the end of the game, both teams started to consistently make baskets, proving just how good both teams are.
In the last five minutes, the score was tight, with the Lions holding 65 points against the Grizzlies who had 61. But within the last three minutes, Senior Annika Stutzman came and scored two points immediately, and they won the game with 73-63, winning by over 10 points! It was an impressive game for the LHS Unified Program!
