After deliberation by various members of the community, it was announced this morning that Dr. Wendy Rubin will be the LHS principal at the start of the next school year.
Currently working as the Head of School at George Washington Academy in Casablanca, Morocco, she has also worked in various roles in education surrounding LPS. This has included 8 years of work as the Superintendent of Englewood Schools; Principal of Chatfield Senior High School; Principal of Falcon Bluffs Middle School in Jefferson County Public Schools. Along with her work, she is also a LPS graduate and is the parent of LPS graduates.
Students and staff around the building are excited to see the impact Rubin will have on our LHS community.
