On Thursday, March 19th, the Littleton High School Band, Orchestra, and Choir departments treated us to a showcase of the ensemble concert they performed in Germany over spring break.
The concert was directed by Mr. Emmons and Mrs. Taylor. The night began with a choir song symbolizing the effects of separation. The choir continued with several more songs, concluding with my favorite, “You Can’t Step in the Same River Twice,” based on a philosopher’s belief in constant change.
Later, the band and orchestra played as a combined ensemble, performing great pieces such as “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman and “Stars and Stripes Forever.”
Finally, the entire combined ensemble and choir stood at the front of the stage to perform “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
The concert was an amazing event, full of love, joy, and excitement from parents and students!
