The “Garden of Glamour” theme really came to life through the vibrant, colorful floral arrangements scattered throughout the venue.
It was clear that a lot of thought went into the setup, especially with the seating. Having tables available both inside and outside gave everyone a choice on where to hang out. To keep things comfortable as the night aired out, the heat lamps and fire pit were a huge hit, making sure no one stayed chilly for long.
The fashion this year was on another level. The room was filled with beautiful semi-formal outfits, with plenty of glitter and elegant details on the dresses, although there were not that many flowery dresses. The energy stayed high all night. The playlist was a major win, especially when the 2016 classic songs came on. The students were definitely feeling the nostalgia and stayed out there for every song.
When it came to the food, there was a solid selection of drinks and treats to keep everyone going. The refreshment station stayed busy with a variety of sodas and bottled water. For dessert, there was a big assortment of cookies, including the classic chocolate chip and sugar cookies, which provided the perfect sugar rush for the dance floor.
Mr. Velasquez mentioned that his favorite part of the whole evening was getting to take pictures of the students and posting them so parents could see the fun in real time. The entire venue just felt full of happiness, making for an experience that was as hilarious as it was beautiful. It was a great night for everyone involved, and the huge amount of photos captured truly reflects that.
Several people stood out during the night and earned special shoutouts for their style and spirit. Tyler West and Axel Fontaine took the title for Best Duo, while Ava Martin was recognized for being the Most On Theme. The Best Dressed couple award went to Kaelob Torres-Platero and Lia Murillo.
Representing the junior Royalty, Princesses Bella Foresman and Prince Tyler West were celebrated by their peers.
For the senior class royalty, Queen Kegan Boyd and King Jessie took the stage, marking a memorable high point for their final year.
