This year, Littleton High School welcomed several new teachers. Among them is new resource teacher Meg O’Donnell, who is not new to the Littleton District, as she has previously worked at Hopkins Elementary School for many years. She is a part-time resource teacher for assistive services and is in the building on even days. She is working to help LHS students and families navigate any challenges they may have and offer support to all.
When asking O’Donnell what her favorite thing about Littleton is so far, she said, “Everyone is welcoming, kind and helpful! I haven’t met anyone who wouldn’t be willing to help me out yet which is really nice especially coming from a new school.” It’s very nice to hear that our new teachers and staff are finding Littleton a very welcoming place where they can find community.
Some interesting things about Mrs. O’Donnell include that she is a mom to two boys, ages 4 and 6, and that her favorite color is purple, which happens to be very fitting considering our school colors are purple and gold. She is also really excited about her new job at Littleton and can’t wait to see what the school year brings.
When asked what her favorite thing to do in her free time is “My family likes to hike or bike outside because my boys have endless energy, so we like to get outside.” said O’Donnell. She prefers to hike outside of Denver, typically in the mountains.
