On Thursday, September 30th the boys varsity tennis team had a match up against Bear Creek for their last regular game of the season. Despite the amount of illness and injuries the team faced, they came out on top winning all their matches but two.

It was supposed to be senior night, but due to the lack of team members, it was postponed to a later date. Even so, the team still played hard for their last match of the season. It was a cold and rainy afternoon, but the boys stuck it out to take home the win for one last home game.

Senior and captain Ethan Rogers (1 Singles) was out of this game due to an ankle injury, but he was still near the courts cheering his teammates on with support.

“The season overall was pretty good. We had alot of close matches, some we lost and some we won really well with decent competition.” said Rogers

The team likes the fun they have been having through this season and hopes it continues into post season. They believe they have a great group of guys and a very friendly and inclusive team culture.

The boys will be heading to regionals next Wednesday and Thursday which are being held in Littleton, CO.
