As part of her Girl Scouts Silver Award project, EHS student Marisol Gutierrez is holding a donation drive to supply a blessing box.
Throughout the week, the donation box will be in the counseling office to put hygiene products, snacks, and other things that some families can’t afford or get their hands on in as donations for the blessing box. The blessing box will then be placed in the library for students to go and grab the essentials that they might need.
Part of the Silver Award is that the project must be something that is long lasting, so after the initial drive NHS and Key Club will be taking over the box to keep it going.
If you would like to make a donation, make sure to do so by Friday as the box will be placed in the library after Friday. If you want to make a donation after Friday, you can bring them to the blessing box in the library!
