As the school year begins, so does a exciting slate of fall sports. Here’s a look at what’s ahead for our fall teams:
Football
The Lions open their season with a 49-6 win against Sheridan, led by Chase Prueitt’s 153 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Next, they are on the road at Jefferson High School on September 5th. They will return home on September 12th for the much anticipated Homecoming game against Englewood. The team then travels to Eagle Valley on September 18th before hosting North High School on September 26th.

Volleyball
The girls’ volleyball team got off to a strong start with a 3–1 win over Kennedy. They lost 0-3 against Widefield, but they look to bounce back against Northfield in their next match.

Boys Tennis
The boys’ tennis team has started the season hot. Behind strong performances from the singles line up led by No. 1 singles player Tyler Griffin, the Lions earned an opening win over Eaglecrest. They followed it up with a 5–1 victory against Highlands Ranch on Monday. The team fought hard but lost against D’Evelyn on Thursday, and they look to bounce back against Dakota Ridge next Thursday.

Girls Flag Football
Despite a tough 0–3 start, the Girls Flag Football team is determined to bounce back against Denver West on Saturday.

Soccer
After a difficult opener against Columbine losing 0-10, the boys’ soccer team is eager to regroup against Niwot.
