On Wednesday April 8th was the girls tennis senior night, a match against Dakota Ridge. This year, there were six senior girls on the team Eva Brendlinger, Molly Burnham, Annie Fox, Journey Rivera, Delaney Schissler, and Mariluz Torres.
Coach Shelly Russel invited family and friends onto the court, and announced the senior girls. Each senior girl was escorted by one of the other girls on the team with cute posters. Russel honored the girls by telling the crowd where the girls would be going to college and what they wanted to do and finally how long they have been on the team.
After the senior honoring, the senior girls announced who would be playing what, the girls shook hands with the opposing teams girls. Then the matches started.
Four teams won including Brendlinger in Singles One and several Doubles teams, a great way to end senior night for the girls tennis.
