On Friday, March 13th, our boys’ swim and dive team continued their undefeated season beating the Lakewood Tigers 117-47. The margin of victory was huge with the Lions winning most of the events.
“They all showed up for each other, and we all took first and second and almost all the events, which it’s good to also win events, but it’s also good to show up for your teammates.” said Senior Thatcher Crull who was awarded the best score in the diving portion of the meet and took home 2nd in the 500 freestyle behind Littleton freshman Eli Morris.

Our A relays placed first in all of relay events and the A and B 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle relays went one-two, showcasing our depth. Other wins included Junior River Hawkins in the 200 IM and 100 Breastroke, Sophomore Charlie Conrad in the 200 Freestyle, Sophomore Caden Luther in the 100 Butterfly, and Sophomore Nate Roybal in the 50 Freestyle. Roybal secured his first state cut in the 50 as well!
The meet was also full of team spirit! The boys were very supportive of each other, cheering each other on and getting excited when one of their teammates did something amazing.
“I think the success of the swim team has really been not just, like, the caliber of our swimmers, but the close natured community of our team.” said Senior Kiernan Luther who helped the 200 Freestyle Relay secure their win.
The boys look to continue being undefeated this season and become three consecutive time league champions!
They look to continue their win streak this week with meets against Discovery Canyon on March 17th at 5:00pm, and Ralston Valley on Thursday, March 19th at 4:30pm in the pool.
