LHS Choir celebrates the holidays with a stunning performance

On December 9th, LHS Choir set out to put on an amazing holiday concert, and an amazing holiday concert it was!

The performance opened with all the choirs singing “A New Noel”, setting the perfect energy for the rest of the concert. Afterwards, the Treble Choir took the stage with “A La Nanita Nana”, followed by “Sing Ding-a-Ding-a-Dong.” After a riveting performance from the Treble Choir, the altos and sopranos of all choirs combined to sing “Candles in December.”

Following that, the LHS Singers came on, with a wonderful rendition of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas.” After the LHS Singers exited, the Tenor/Bass Choir entered with “We Three Kings” and a hilarious performance of “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer”, including choreography organized by the students themselves. After the Tenor/Bass Choir, the LHS Syrens sang “Merrily Sing We All Noel”, “A Snowflake Lullaby”, and “A Choral Flourish.” The tenors and basses of all choirs then combined, singing “That Old Fashioned Christmas.”

The Troubadours then performed “Gaudete”, “All Star”, and “Deck the Halls (in ⅞ time).” To wrap up such an incredible concert, all the choirs combined once again for “Silent Night”, featuring solos from Sophomore Henry LeCount and Junior Ella Chase. All in all, every participant in the concert did a wonderful job, and it was most certainly a concert to remember! Happy Holidays everyone!
