Meet Ms. Rachel Van-Dusen!
Van-Dusen is the new occupational therapist here at Littleton High School, and she is excited to get to know the school community!
Van-Dusen’s role at LHS as an “Occupational Therapist” is to help center-based students develop important life skills, such as cooking, participating in the community, and grocery shopping. She also helps students in their classrooms with everyday activities and assignments.
Van-Dusen mentions that the size of the Littleton Public Schools District was the reason she came here, as her previous position had her going to two to three schools. Now that she is at LPS, she only has to go to one. One thing Rachel enjoys about LHS so far is the friendly staff and students around the building.
“You can really feel the sense of community here, and how people really care about each other and want each other to do really well.” Van-Dusen said.
When Van-Dusen is not working, she enjoys drinking coffee and finding new coffee shops to try, along with hiking.
Welcome to LHS, Ms. Rachel!
