LHS welcomes our newest reptile, Everything Bagel! She is an 8 year old bearded dragon who came to LHS alongside Ms. Megan Mitchell. She originally belonged to a student who was set to leave for college and naturally, Mitchell took Bagel into her family. Prior to LHS, Bagel taught at George Washington High School in Denver.
She is missing her left eye due to unknown circumstances, but that takes nothing away from her amazing personality. Even though bearded dragons are omnivores, Bagel prefers to munch on butter lettuce and hot (lizard) cheetos. Being native to Australia, she naturally enjoys sun basking in her luxurious terrarium, and when she gets too hot, she enjoys being misted with a spray bottle similar to a vegetable in the produce section.
Mitchell welcomes students who want to meet her to visit room 1314 during B lunch, after school/ before school, or during 2nd, 3rd, and 8th period. Bagel also has an Instagram account: @everything_bagel_lhs
