Littleton Track soars through the competition at LPS Stadium Track Meet

Last Saturday, LHS Track hosted the Classic LPS Stadium Track Meet and over 20+ schools participated in long Jumps, shot put, hurdles, and many other events. Here’s what the team had to say about this exciting occasion.

When asked about the meet, sophomore John Keran said “I’m really excited to compete against Arapahoe, considering how we beat Heritage last time. We have a good line-up this year, and hopefully, we can get more state qualifiers.”

Senior Ryan Hill noted the variety of events judged. He said, “There are over 20 events here, and I’m excited to compete again. I’ve been doing track for 3 years now and I’m proud that our team has made it this far.

After the meet, sophomore thrower Eli Barbour said, “Littleton killed it, we won a lot of races and placed very high in others. If you are interested in throwing, it is a lot of fun and I recommend it to everyone.”
