On the 3rd of January, I went to a hockey game for the first time to see my friend Isaiah play. He played really well, and scored twice!
It’s a very competitive sport. Some of the players even dropped their hockey sticks during the game. The final score was 5-3. It was a good game, the game was Heritage High School vs Battle Mountain High School, and the Battle Mountain side of the crowd was louder than the Heritage side for the cheers.
This event was at the Family Sports Center, and it was freezing! A lot of people came out to support the three LPS High schools on one team together.
LHS Senior, Isaiah Miscall, has been on the ice hockey team for 4 years. Miscall stated that to lead the team to victory, they had to listen to the coaches. He also said that this game was challenging because some of the teammates disagreed about playing time.
