Meet Our New Student Body President

Littleton High School is excited to welcome its new Student Body President, Gavin Reidy, whose passion for leadership, connection, and involvement has shaped his journey since first joining Student Council.

When asked what inspired him to run for president, Gavin shared that he has always enjoyed talking to people, helping with their interests, and being someone approachable. “When I joined the Student Council, I knew that this was something I’d want to achieve,” he explained.

This year, his goals go beyond organizing events. He hopes to strengthen community and belonging for every student. “My goal is to make sure that everybody at Littleton feels they belong, not only with classmates, but at school itself,” he said. His plans include improving communication about events, activities, and clubs while encouraging more participation across the student body.

A big part of his vision is valuing student voices. By using tools like Google Forms, he hopes to give students more ways to share feedback and help shape the school year. “I believe we’re going to achieve things that exceed previous years, and hopefully shatter expectations,” he said.

One challenge he recognizes is the need for better coordination among different clubs and organizations. Building on recent collaborations with groups like Latinos in Action, he plans to expand partnerships to bring the school together.

Above all, student involvement is at the heart of his leadership. He wants every Lion to find an activity or group they are passionate about, and to celebrate the connections that come from participation. With improved announcements, stronger promotion, and platforms for clubs to share their events, he’s committed to making opportunities more accessible than ever.

And outside of leadership? Gavin has a sweet side, literally. A fun fact is that he loves baking, with his favorite dessert being key lime pie.

Littleton is looking forward to a year of growth, collaboration, and school spirit under the leadership of Gavin Reidy, our new Student Body President!
