I went to the mountains to stay in a cabin with my family and cousin, and we all hung out. Also, my family and I went on a hike at Castlewood Canyon Falls and it was so pretty, they had giant rocks! We also went to Hudson Gardens Trail Lights and that was so fun. My little cousins are crazy. My uncle brought up that my aunt passed away, and since we’re up in the mountains, my uncle was crying the day the family was about to leave to go back to Denver. That made me feel sad.
While I was gone, I had a dog-sitter who was also one of my teachers, Meaghan. I got good breakfast and lunch when I got home, and my dogs were very crazy!
