This year we are excited to welcome many new staff members to our school! One of which includes Mrs. Jessica Broussard, a new Assistant Principals.
Originally from Los Angeles, Broussard worked as a high school math teacher for many years. After teaching math, she became an instructional coach and coordinator at Dorsey High School in LA.
Her experience teaching there was “such a sweet, wonderful memory.”
After teaching in California for many years, her family moved to Colorado. Five years ago she began working for Littleton Public Schools at the district level. Broussard worked at the Education Service Center as the K-12 math teacher on special assignment.
“I had a chance to implement a bunch of new math curriculums and talk a lot about assessment and curriculum,” said Broussard about her time at the ESC. After spending time at the ESC she is, “so, so, so excited to be here at Littleton High School.”
“One of the wonderful things about working at the district is that I get to know all of the schools, and Littleton High School was this place where I always hoped and dreamed that one day I would get to be here,” she added. “It’s a little bit of a dream come true.”
Besides her years of experiencing teaching or working in schools, Broussard enjoys lots of outdoor activities. She spends time outdoors with her family on motorized bikes, skiing or hiking.
