Last Thursday, the Littleton Lions Football team and Poms seniors were recognized for their hard work and dedication to their respected activities. No matter how many years these students were involved in their sports, the effort and dedication is no different! Here’s the scoop of the Senior Night ceremony and football game that occurred last Thursday:
The game last week went really well for the Lions! Though we did not win against John F. Kennedy High School, we did score 3 touchdowns and had a lot of good motivation, specifically because of the special night. Only two of our players got injured while playing, and they got up soon after their injuries. Our spirits were high, the marching band during the halftime show was amazing as always, and we were ready for the game!
At the start of halftime, the senior football players were ready for the moment they have been waiting for since they started football: the Senior Night ceremony. The seniors were #3 Chase Prueitt, #58 Daniel Inzurriaga, #57 Devonte Vickers, #65 Evan Adams, #76 Hanan Lentz, #68 Hayden Stadler, #58 Kevin Guzman-Nava, #11 Sam Byers, and #31 Warren Hoffelt.
Senior Poms were also recognized for their great skills during all of the games, pumping up not only the team but also the crowd. These girls were seniors Carolina Mendieta Avina, Xiomara Garcia, and Dayana Lopez Lopez.
Overall, everyone involved in these games deserves great appreciation towards making our sports the best they can be! Our seniors for both sports will be remembered for years to come because of their dedication and impact on the school.
