Let’s give a warm welcome to one of the newest additions to the home of the Lions, Ms. Ange!
Ms. Ange is a new science teacher here, and she has a very cool past! Germany is where she was born, but she moved to the U.S. when she was little. When she was younger, she didn’t like science much, and enjoyed English and math, but she obviously grew a strong liking for it as she grew older. She went to college for biochemistry, even getting a masters degree! Before teaching here, she did some student teaching at a school where she got to teach forensic and criminal sciences and chemistry to juniors and seniors. She also went into learning more about Type 1 diabetes, but ultimately decided on teaching. When it came to looking for schools to work at, she chose Littleton High School because the Littleton area has a lot of memories for her when she was younger, but also for the fact that her fiance’s family lives right down the street. When she was in college, she met her fiance when he asked her to go swing dancing with him. This is now one of her hobbies that she does outside of the workplace. This summer, Ms. Ange mainly stayed here in Colorado, which is much needed before the busy bustle of the year. We are all so excited to have Ms. Ange here at Littleton, and to see what the year has to bring for her!
