Swim and dive girls senior night

On January 23 The Littleton High School girls varsity swim and dive team had a swim meet as well as their senior night. Many flowers were brought to celebrate the team’s seniors.

Here are some interviews with two of the team’s seniors, Scout Hawkins, and Caley Brungardt.

When asked why she joined the swim and dive team, Hawkins said,

“I joined swim and dive because I had been swimming competitively before high school and I wanted to be a part of a community.”

When asked how long she has been on the team, Hawkins said,

“I have been apart of the swim and dive team for all 4 years.”

When asked what the swim and dive team has taught her, Hawkins said,

“Something the team has taught me is that friendships and a community is so important in the world of sports.”

When asked why she joined the swim and dive team here is what Brungardt had to say,

“I have been swimming about 2 to 3 years beforehand and I really liked it, and through my 8th-grade program I began to know some of the girls on the team and thought it would be a fun opportunity.”

When asked what the swim and dive team has taught her this is what senior Brungardt said,

“One thing swim and dive has taught me is the importance of having a really strong community and how much easier that allows you to reach your goals.”
