For the first time, Unified Basketball had Senior Night at home. We played against Smoky Hill, and it was a great game! During halftime, they honored all seniors, and we all got shirts that Lawrence’s mom made. Ms. Meaghan and Coach Josh gave us flowers, and Mary Nell’s mom made giant posters of our heads!
It was a wonderful night to celebrate seniors. Senior Reese Reynolds said, “I was sad that it was my last home game of the season, but happy I got my three-pointer at Senior night. Everyone else was happy for me too, they all give me high-fives and said ‘wow’!”
“I like walking through the tunnel but sad last home game.” said senior Nathan Simmonds, and senior Chuck Winston said, “It was good and it was fun.” “It was fun and really cute,” said Claire Ingham.
It was a nice night to remember, one last time at home!
