Zootopia 2

Zootopia 2

Zootopia 2 was released to theaters on November 26th, 2025, following the release of Zootopia on March 16th, 2016. Zootopia 2 is welcoming for all ages, with its playful energy and engaging plot twists. The main characters of this movie are Detectives Judy Hopps, played by Ginnifer Goodwin, and Nick Wilde, played by Jason Bateman.

Detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile, who turns the mammal metropolis of Zootopia upside down. Testing their growing partnership like never before, they go undercover in new parts of town to crack the case. Going into the case, they ultimately reveal their feelings about each other, resulting in a better understanding and connection as partners, and presenting a little romance into the scene.

This movie was definitely worth the price of those theater tickets. There was laughing and giggling, feeling the betrayal of the characters, and experiencing the importance and value of friendship. For example, like when the character Pawbert, a Lynx, seemed to be helping with retrieving a valuable signed document to bring back the freedom of the reptiles, his family banished from the rest of the animals. Instead, he turned around and stabbed his ‘partners’, Gary De’ Snake, and Judy Hopps in the back, being on the enemies side from the very beginning.

This is more of a family night, and it is a good action movie to watch with your younger siblings.

Although there were a few parts in the movie that were a little questionable, it was overall enjoyable to watch! It definitely never gets boring or drags on, and it keeps the viewers engaged, waiting for what happens next.

If you’re someone who enjoys watching funny, feel-good movies, then maybe this is the movie for you. If you liked the first one, then you’ll definitely love the second one. My personal opinion is that the first movies are always gonna be the best ones, but this one was just as good!
