On Tuesday, September 8th, Littleton High School’s mental health team hosted their annual Suicide Awareness Month Popsicle Social on the front lawn during A and B Lunches. Students had the chance to sign a poster with their names and motivational messages such as “You matter” and “Stay Here.” They also had the opportunity to enjoy popsicles and listen to music!
Students were thanked for being a part of the community after writing down a message on the poster.
This event is very important as it introduces students to our mental health support team here at LHS. They can connect with them just by showing up to the social, and the team wants everyone to know that if you need help with anything, the LHS mental health team is here to help and support you.
Feel free to stop by the LHS Counseling office if you need any support or simply just want to say hi!
