On Labor Day weekend, I saw Coyote VS. Acme, which was released on August, 28th 2026. A movie that was originally cancelled by Warner Bros. Studios in 2023. Three years later, it was re-released after Ketchup Entertainment bought it.
The film stars John Cena, Will Forte, and Eric Bauza. The movie follows Wiley E. Coyote from the Looney Tunes cartoons suing the fictional ACME (The company used in Looney Tunes cartoons) with a Billboard Lawyer. The movie received a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. Many reviewers discussed their feelings about how glad they were to see that the movie had finally been released and their anger at Warner Brothers for not releasing the film earlier. I overall agree with the common opinion on this film, and I think the movie deserves that score because it is a very solid movie but definitely not the best film out this year.
It’s a fun laugh and rewatchable film for all ages. I think that the satire in the film was funny. I do feel that the mix of animation and live action was well-made. Its comedy lands very well, and the jokes surrounding the Road Runner, who only speaks in Beeps. If you need a movie to turn your brain off, I would recommend this movie to you. 9.3/10 in my opinion.
