Music is universally popular, and there are so many different genres and artists to explore. We know our LHS seniors love music, but what kind of genres and songs are their favorites? I don’t know about you, but I’m curious to find out. So, I went around and asked senior students what their favorite genres and songs are, and this is what I found.
“My favorite song is Star shopping by Lil Peep,” said senior Chloe Whelan. “As for genre of music, I can’t decide it depends on the day, but probably rap or alternative.”
Up next is Jayah welton. “My favorite genre is R&B and song is Double Fantasy by the Weekend,” said Welton.
Continuing the R&B train, senior Charlotte Delany stated, “I like Cinderella by Mac Miller and my favorite genre is probably Pop.”
However, some seniors lean more towards different genres. It’s great to see such a wide diversity of views. “My favorite song is probably Hell and Above by Pierce the Veil, and I really like rock and metal,” said River Lasswell.
Wyatt Herrle said, “My favorite genre is dance pop and my favorite song is Today I Saw the Whole World by Pierce the Veil.”
Well, it’s safe to say our seniors have a very wide variety of tastes, and all really enjoy music! Even though there’s different tastes, they all come together one way or another.
