Review: In-Tea is a cozy and close place for tea lovers

Located in Downtown Littleton, In Tea is the perfect place to have a light snack while studying. The atmosphere is perfect for getting together with friends, the tea is delicious, and the pastries are homemade. There are so many varieties of tea and boba pearls are one of the numerous toppings offered. Although I was not a big fan of tea, dining at In Tea has completely changed my mind.

When I first walked into In Tea, I was immediately overwhelmed. Due to its small size, I was not expecting much. Despite being crammed into Historic Downton Littleton, In Tea serves food as well as a variety of products. Beautiful teapots, fun mugs, tea bags, stickers, water bottles, matcha pressers, tea infusers, candles, books, and more are sold here. In Tea also sells products from small businesses like locally sourced honey and lip balm.

I loved the atmosphere at In Tea. They found a way to do so much with the little space they had. Although there were many different products being sold, there were still places to sit down and sip your tea. During the summer, the outdoor seating area that overlooks Historic Littleton is the perfect place to be, but during the winter months, the indoor seating offers a perfect place to do homework and enjoy your order.

What caught my eye was In Tea’s famous giant tea wall, home to 170 different types of tea. I do not drink tea often, so this was very intimidating. There were so many different options to choose from, and I was not familiar with most of the flavors. Thankfully, the employees at In Tea were very helpful and recommended the Matcha Tea. There were also many toppings to choose from but I decided to stick to familiarity and ordered the boba pearls- delicious, chewy, black bubbles.

I found it very convenient that there were syrup dispensers available to customers. For those with a sweet tooth like me, Tea can taste bitter on its own but with many sweeteners to choose from, I could customize my tea to my liking.

I loved the Matcha Tea. It was not sweet enough for me at first but after adding syrup it was perfect. I also loved the appearance. The Matcha came in a glass cup with a metal straw, it was very eco-friendly. The boba was delicious and added the perfect, final touch to my tea. The prices at In Tea are definitely more expensive than most places, but the atmosphere, appearance, and authenticity make it worth it.

There were also many pastries to choose from as well. There were danishes, croissants, muffins, and more. They smelled delicious and were freshly made.

For those of you that prefer shopping online, do not worry! In Tea has its own website where you can purchase dried teas and any merchandise of your choosing. The website is very efficient and easily navigable. In Tea also ships your orders directly to your house, so you can brew and enjoy their tea daily.

For all of the tea lovers out there, I highly recommend In Tea! I have never been to a place with a bigger tea selection than the one here. For those of you that are not frequent tea drinkers but are open-minded, In Tea is the perfect place for you as well. The fun products sold, freshly-baked snacks, friendly employees, calming atmosphere, and of course, the appetizing tea sold creates a perfect, relaxing environment for everyone!
