This weekend, the Littleton High Theater Department is perforrming their spring musical, Into the Woods with the music of Stephen Sondheim and the book by James Lapine. This play takes your favorite fairytales and gives them a twist. In Act 1, it ends with a happily ever after, but Act 2 shows you the reality of life.

I got the opportunity to see the show before opening night. The vocals of our Littleton students were astonishing. The acting was another level, especially the emotion and connection amongst the cast.
The greatest part of the show is the fact that Littleton students are the ones who put everything together without any adult help. The set was built by students, the costumes, the music, etc. It was put on entirely by our students.
I am not a huge musical fan myself, but I genuinely enjoyed the show. Even though the show is on the longer side of ones we have performed here at LHS, I was never bored sitting in my seat. My attention was captured the whole time. I was laughing at the comedy and impressed by the acting.

The shows are:
Thursday, March 3, 7pm
Friday, March 4, 7pm
Saturday, March 5 at 1pm (Act 1 only recommended for children)
Saturday, March 5 at 6pm
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 students.
