On Monday evening, boys’ lacrosse took on Thompson Valley High School and celebrated the nine seniors on the team.
The seniors on the team this year include Peyton Fenner, Peter Knoblauch, Dane Price, Jack Duvernet, Gavin Adams, Noah Abramson, Brendan Dietz, Eduoard Wirth, and Carter Wasson who will be playing lacrosse at Aurora University next year.
The team put up a tough battle, but ultimately came up short, losing 9-19.
Despite this loss, the team has been performing very well this season, currently having 8 wins and 6 losses, and a shot at the playoffs.
“I’m proud of our record, we’re doing a lot better than last year,” said senior and top-scorer Dane Price.
Price mentions what he has enjoyed about his senior season.
“I’m having fun with the team, playing well, and having a good season. It’s a fun team to play on and a good group of boys.”
Come out and cheer on boys’ lacrosse as they go up against Heritage tomorrow, May 5th, in the stadium, a game that will determine whether or not they get into the playoffs. Good luck lacrosse!
