On September 2 and 3rd of 2026, Jack Johnson, singer of “Banana Pancakes” and “Upside Down” performed at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre for his SURFILMUSIC Tour.
Before he became a music artist, Jack Johnson was a professional surfer. He was born in Hawaii and raised on surfing, starting at just five years old. Johnson made it to the finals of the prestigious surfing event, Pipeline Masters at just 17 years old. Unfortunately, he wiped out and suffered a severe injury leading to him needing over 100 stitches in his head. This accident ended his surfing career but Johnson switched to making surf films and eventually music.
His SURFILMUSIC Tour was a delightful mix of his discography, from songs like “Flake” to “I Got You” to covering “9 to 5” in remembrance of the late great Dolly Parton.
Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre was packed full of people and a peaceful vibe. With a bit of rain, lighting, and visuals from his surf film days, Jack Johnson lit up Fiddler’s with his outstanding acoustic, folk, and surf rock music.
