LHS boys lacrosse dominates the field

Our Boys Littlton Lions Lacrosse team has been on a 3-0 winning streak and don’t plan on slowing down. They obtained victory against Palmer, Denver North, and The Vanguard School.

The team has a substantial amount of seniors on it making it senior season to remember. The team’s overall and individual stats are definitely something to be proud of and add an accomplished start to their season.

Players like Dane Price hold the title of 1st in goals and 2nd in points in the entire state. Additionally, Peyton Fenner a senior on the team claims the label as 3rd in goals and points in Colorado, another impressive accomplishment for this athlete and adds to the team’s exceptional athletic nature.

Many students have shown up to games to show their support for their lacrosse lions and cheered them on as they bring the team wins back to back. Hogan Conner, a sophomore on the team, had this to say about the team’s success,

“It is nice to see all the hard work being put into practice being applied to games and resulting in the wins we hope for. I hope to see more wins in the future and for the team to increasingly get better through the season.”

Hogan seemed to be very optimistic about the rest of the season and the success to come. After speaking with some of the players on the team many concluded that the reason for their success in games is all the hard work and effort being put into every practice, the camaraderie found between players and the communication between not only teammates but the coaches as well.

I hope, as do many, that the boys go on to do great things this season! GO LIONS!
