Boys prepare in front of the pool

LHS Boys Swim shows off skills during first meet

During the lead-up to the boy’s swim season (which started February 24th), the Lionfish have been excited to compete for a while. Their first meet against Evergreen and Lakewood showed how hard the LHS swimmers have been working.

“The meet went very well, and we’ve been putting in a lot of effort to improve our skills.’ Said Junior Lars Romine. “I’ve been really excited to compete and I’m glad the team is doing well.”

“It went pretty well I think. We got second which is good for the first meet of the season,” said Sophomore Max Ratcliff “We had a couple kids do really well and I think that things will begin to improve over the course of the season and I’m happy I did well.”

Boys Swim looks very promising, and their school spirit is encouraging many others to join LHS Boys Swim.
