Zoe Bar-Or swings into her first LHS golf season

Freshman Zoe Bar-Or, a rising member of LHS Girls’ Golf, has been golfing since she was nine.

“My grandpa was one of the top junior golf coaches in the state, and he got me and my family into it,” explained Bar-Or in an interview.

Her season has just recently started– and so far, so good.

“I had two tournaments so far, and the first one went really well, but I got sixth. And the second one, I really struggled, and I came in third,” said Bar-Or.

For Bar-Or, golf has always been a passion that she can turn to after a stressful day.

“It’s really calming and therapeutic for me, it’s something I’ve done for so long to manage stress and stuff like that. It’s just something really important to me. So it’s really fun,” said Bar-Or.

When asked to recall her favorite memory, Bar-Or thought back to when she was 10 years old.

“My favorite memory was winning my first Junior Golf Alliance in Colorado tournament. I placed first at Applewood Golf course and my grandpa got to see it – and my mom. So it was really important to me,” said Bar-Or.
