In downtown Littleton on Main Street, General Store 45 has a little something for everybody. When you walk in, you’re greeted by a kind employee that asks if you’re looking for something in particular.
All employees were very kind and helpful and were providing support to customers who needed help finding something. I noticed a customer who needed help finding a hat related to the fact that they visited a certain mountain pass, and the employee went to the back and searched for the desired product.
Each section is easy to find, with everything visible. They have games by the window, fidgets at the entrance, shirts in the back, hats by the shirts, and a lot more miscellaneous products spread throughout the store, such as candles with different people on them.
The store has products that fit all ages, with mugs with witty lines on them for adults in the workplace to candy for kids. There’s a ton of interesting trinkets and gadgets for everyone.
While inside the store, I noticed a Pac-Man machine for children to play while their parents are shopping for various items. Because of this, parents can ship for things that children might not have fun tagging along for, such as shopping for sunglasses.
Many of the useful objects for the household are grouped together, such as cooking and cleaning supplies. Among those were cookbooks, spices, and other miscellaneous cooking supplies like salt and pepper containers.
The store also has a wide variety of books. Many self-help books are available in the section directly to the left of the cooking supplies, right under the cookbooks. I found this easy to access because books are all in the same section, with the cookbooks also next to the cooking section.
General Store 45 also provides a section with gifts for loved ones such as candles and cards. Some cards have witty lines, while others have heartfelt messages for loved ones such as parents and grandparents.
Prices range from budget prices of less than $10 for cheap games and fidgets as well as lower-end sunglasses, to jewelry and better-quality clothing with prices of over $50. I found this helpful because people shopping with a high budget, such as looking for Christmas gifts or other special occasions can visit the store, as well as people just looking for a cheap pastime like a game.
All ages and all budgets can shop at General Store 45, whether people are looking for a gift for a relative or trying to get a new shirt. They have food and refreshments, as well as useful objects for the household, with just fun products that can be used as a pastime. Prices are all relatively reasonable for the products they correspond to, and it’s a very fun experience with nice employees. General Store 45 is highly recommended.
