Almost all the girls have been playing together since freshman year creating really strong bonds through the sport.  “Girls soccer is really special for me because I have been able to play with the best people and make my best friends,” said senior Aden Becker.

“We were all hoping to walk out of the senior night with a win, but it was awesome to see our stands packed with friends and supporters,” said Enzminger on the night. The crowd was screaming and cheering with posters, flags, and drums playing.

“It’s not the way we wanted our senior night to go, but I think we worked really hard and I’m proud of that,” said senior Beth Krankota. Krankota is the goalie for the team. She blocked the goal in many 1v1 situations.

The lady lions will play again on Thursday at Dakota Ridge High School starting at 4 pm.
