Girls swim finishes 7th in state

This past two weeks, the LHS Lionfish girls swim team placed 2nd in their league meet, and finished 7th overall in class 4A. This record shattering team broke the school record for fastest time in the 200 freestyle relay during the league competition. 

The lady lionfish finished 3rd in the state for the 200 freestyle relay competition and helped secure the top 10 finishes for the school. Senior Scout Hawkins finished 4th place in the 100 breaststroke finals, reaching the finish line in just 1:07.67.  

This record breaking team that is anchored by their incredible seniors have installed leadership and a hard work ethic throughout the program and will be remembered for years to come as an accomplished team.
