Boys Varsity Tennis prevails over Green Mountain High School

On Tuesday, the boys’ varsity tennis team went up against Green Mountain High School in a home game. LHS had 3 singles matches and 4 doubles matches to play. The singles swept up the competition and won every single match. The doubles succeeded against Green Mountain as well.

“I won my match, but I couldn’t play my best. It should’ve been over a lot sooner,” said varsity singles player John Keran, a junior.

The varsity team has a hopeful season ahead of them as they have improved greatly since last season. However, the team still has work ahead of them.

“There’s room for improvement because a good portion of our team are freshmen,” said Keran.

The tennis team will be facing off against Dakota Ridge High School today.

“They are a good team, and I am excited to play against them,” said Keran.
