The Lady Lionfish just had their first meet of the season. The team ended up getting first place, beating Conifer and Evergreen. After their strong performance, here’s what some of the Lionfish had to say about the meet.

First is Senior Varsity Swimmer Elizabeth Doty. After a long and hard day of competing, Doty said,

“I thought it went really well, especially for the first meet. I want people to be proud of themselves and achieve the personal goals they set for themselves. I would also like Littleton to get first at League.”

When asked about her thoughts on being on the team for so long, Doty said,

“This year has been one of the better years for me. I want to make League before Christmas break, which is motivating me right now. I also love the people on it and I think it’s a great community that is very supportive of each other.”

On the other side of the team, there’s the dive team. The senior varsity team captain Bailey Beckett had a lot to say about this year’s dive team.

“It went pretty good considering all things. Some of the divers had to learn their dives during the warm-up because most of the team is new divers. I did better than I thought I would. We’re gonna try and win leagues and for me personally I hope to make it to state.”

Their next meet is on December 6th, go support our Lady Lionfish!
