Lions lacrosse update: recent wins and future successes

Our varsity boys Lacrosse team here at LHS played Jefferson Academy, Tuesday April 11, with a 14-5 win in our non-league contest. Player of the Game was senior Dane Price with a goal total of eight goals. Also worth recognizing senior Peyton Fenner with his three goals, junior Sam Miller with two goals, and senior Gavin Adams with one goal. 

The following day, April 12, our Lions lacrosse team played an away game against Smoky Hill high school with the opposing team having a 4-5 win and a .44 win percentage. Our Lions won with a close score of 10-9, leaving our overall 7-1 win and a .88 win percentage. During the first and second quarters, our Lions scored three points each quarter and scored a total of four points in the final, fourth quarter. Dane Price scored a total of 5 goals, Peyton Fenner scored 2, and Sam Miller, Peter Knoblauch, and Hogan Connors each scored a goal during the game on Wednesday night. Congratulations to Carter Wasson, #12, for being Player of the Game, great job lions!

Next up on the Varsity Lacrosse Schedule, Littleton High School is set to play an away game at Cheyenne Mountain High school vs. their Red-Tailed Hawks, on Tuesday, April, 18 at 6:30 p.m. The Hawks have a 5-3 overall win rate, while we have a 7-1 overall win rate, best of luck to our Lions Lacrosse Team!
